		<description>I _think_ (it&#039;s been a while) that the 1939 Naval Estimates include an authorisation for keeping most of the men called up on the rolls. So the reservists never went home. But I might be mistaking them for another group.</description>

I thought up a few snide comments about the relative positions of the Manchester Guardian and the Daily Hatemail, but I couldn&#039;t improve on reality.

Brett, I hope you&#039;re going to follow it through to demobilisation - I&#039;d love to know when, forex, the RN reservists came home again.</description>
